The key rehearsal venues, concert venues, and community performance locations of the International Community Choir are all in northern Taipei, clustered around the MRT Red Line (Tamsui-Xinyi).

Below, we will explain in more detail how to get to these venues with public transportation.
Main locations
Mother of God church | MoG
Hosts our main seasonal concerts (May and December). Affiliated with St. Anne’s Home. We rehearse here in the final week before the concerts.
Tienmu is not within easy walking distance of MRT stations. The most convenient option is from Shipai MRT station with bus R19 (10 min) or either bus 224 or Chong Qing Main Line (重慶幹線), also known as 601 (both 14 min). All these lines depart from the “Donghua” (東華) stop at Shipai MRT station every 15 minutes.
At Shipai, take Exit 1, turn right, safely cross the road, then turn right again and walk down the sidewalk in parallel to the MRT station to find the bus stop:
YouBike from MRT is also possible, but note that the church is still about a 700 m (about half a mile) uphill walk from the nearest YouBike station, so it may not be the fastest option.
American Club Taipei | ACC
Located near Jiantan MRT station, but the transfer from Jiantan to ACC is not immediately obvious if you’re not driving a car.
The most direct walking and YouBike route is to simply follow the lefthand sidewalk around the mountain, through the short tunnel, passing around the Grand Hotel area.
The GPS navigation of Google Maps does not show this route, so we made a mini-map for you here:
You can check out the tunnel section on Google Street View with this link. The sidewalk is raised, so it is safe to walk and (if competent) cycle there. There is usually no other foot traffic in this area, so it won’t be crowded on the sidewalk.
There is a YouBike station in front of ACC, and a bus stop named “The Grand Hotel” (圓山大飯店).
At ACC, pass by the reception (no registration required), take the stairs at the end of the lobby and go upstairs to 2F.
Convenient bus lines from ACC back to the MRT network are 267, 287, 556, 646, 902 and R2. Other lines are possible but will take longer to get to an MRT station.
You can also just walk or cycle the same way back to Jiantan.
Shilin Presbyterian Church | SPC
Shilin Presbyterian Church is a historic Protestant church in walking distance from Shilin MRT station.
At Shilin, take Exit 1 and walk down the alleys to find the church. See the Google Maps pin below for navigation.
Rehearsals take place in a community building to the right of the church. Lobby is open. Take elevator or stairs to 4F, then please take off your shoes at the door.
Yuanshan Expo Market
Located right at Yuanshan MRT station. We usually perform here at the German Christmas Market in November or December.
From Yuanshan MRT, take Exit 1, turn left and you’re already there. The main stage is usually in the middle of the market area.
